Performance Auto Group is currently seeking a Group Benefits Administrator to join the head office Employee Services team in Brampton to cover a 1 year Maternity Leave. Reporting directly to the Employee Services Manager (Head of Human Resources) the successful incumbent will be primarily responsible for the coordination and administration of group benefits programs for Performance Auto Group employees.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact for all benefits related queries.

  • Perform daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims.

  • Perform monthly plan audits; report and resolve with Employee Services Manager.

  • Maintain employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database and update employee payroll records.

  • Prepare monthly and/or quarterly benefit reports for Employee Services Manager and Chief Financial Officer.

  • Administer all leaves of absences including all ESA protected leaves, sick, training and long term disability leave of absences.

  • Track and administer employee discount programs and vehicle demonstrator program.

  • Administer and support the OMVIC dealer renewal process and Group Fleet Insurance Programs.

  • Manages and compiles statistical reports as required by the Employee Services Manager.

  • Adheres to all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company policies.

  • Demonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of duties.

  • Exercises full discretion, privacy and confidentiality with information in an ethical and professional manner.

Job Skills/Requirements:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or related field.

  • CHRP, PCP or  designation, or working towards.

  • 3-5 years' experience in a HR and/or Payroll role required.

  • Minimum two years benefits administration experience.

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with ADP WFN, benefits platforms, internal controls, and management.

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned projects and duties.

  • Automotive industry experience considered an asset however not required.
