Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice, support and assistance to hiring managers
  • Oversee HR Officers dedicated to recruitment (providing mentorship, support, performance management, etc.)
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment activities
  • Be fully dedicated to adhering to the TIC Recruitment Policy – aimed at maximizing northern and northern indigenous employment
  • Be creative and innovative in marketing TIC as an employer of choice in job advertisements
  • Oversee recruitment function, implementation, administration through the Bamboo HRIS
  • Work directly with other department/company managers to identify personnel gaps and develop a plan for filling those gaps
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement in communication and efficiencies

 

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Commerce/Administration or Human Resources Management required.
  • Additional relevant courses in Human Resources considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Knowledge of human resources-related legislation.
  • CHRP certification considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years working in a leadership position in the Human Resources field focusing on recruitment and onboarding.
