Performance Auto Group is currently seeking a Regional Human Resources Coordinator to join the head office Employee Services team in Brampton, ON. The Regional Coordinator will assist with the management of employment programs and policies, salary compensation and job evaluations, inter-company transfers, promotions and training programs. The position will serve as the point of contact in HR for an assigned group of dealerships, providing HR related support to approximately 500 employees in the General Toronto Area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to Human Resource related queries on HR Ticket system.

  • Provide support to managers with screening and selection of candidates.

  • Prepare offer letters/ employment contracts for prospective employees.

  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.

  • Support managers with progressive discipline and performance management including drafting disciplinary and performance related letters and memos.

  • Responsible for executing intercompany transfer requests.

  • Assist with WSIB reporting, claims tracking and management.

  • Track and monitor employment related training.

  • Distribute, track, and follow up with performance reviews daily.

  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

  • Assist with the implementation and management of employment programs, salary compensation and job evaluations, promotions and training programs.

  • Adheres to all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company policies.

  • Demonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of duties.

  • Exercises full discretion, privacy and confidentiality with information in an ethical and professional manner.

  • Assumes other duties as directed by the Employee Services Manager and/or Regional Human Resources Generalist.

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources or related field.

  • CHRP or actively working towards designation.

  • Working experience with ADP WFN highly desirable.

  • 1-3 years' experience in a HR role.

  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships.

  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Strong computing skills required.

  • Travel to various sites required.
